It’s my first ski/snowboarding holiday, what should I buy?


When going on a ski/snowboarding holiday you should consider the following:
· When are you going (temperature)
· Where are you going (temperature/climate)
· How much do you want to spend


You should always apply the 3-layer system. The advantage to this system is that you can add and remove layers depending on temperature.


· Outer – jacket, trousers, beanie or helmet, sunglasses and/or goggles and gloves or mitts
· Mid – fleece or hoodie
· Base – thermals & socks


Extras
· Luggage
· Backpack
· Protection – especially if you are snowboarding – wrist guards, impact shorts and helmet
· Handwarmers (to keep your fingers toasty inside your gloves/mitts)
· Sun tan lotion (yes that’s right - you can get sunburnt while on the slopes!!)
 
 
How do I place an Order?


Placing an order with Uber Mountain is easy and can be completed in a matter of minutes via our secure website.
How much are the shipping costs?
We offer a flat rate delivery charge of £3.49.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?


Most orders placed before 10:00am (Monday-Friday) are dispatched the same day via Royal Mail recorded delivery or DHL depending on size, weight and specified shipping method.
· Items delivered within the UK Mainland should arrive within 3-5 days depending upon shipping method selected and location.
· Items delivered within Europe should arrive within 3-10 working days depending upon shipping method selected and location and customs (if not within the EU).
· Items delivered to the Rest of the World should arrive within 5- 14 working days depending upon shipping method selected, location and customs.
 
 
How do I return faulty or unwanted items?


We offer a "No Quibble" Guarantee: If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us within 14 days for a refund or replacement.


Unwanted Goods

Please let us know if you wish to return any unsuitable items within 14 days at info@ubermountain.co.uk or 024 7639 9620. We will issue a returns number together with the return address.

Any items which are returned for refund or exchange must be received back at our mail order department within 14 days in a new and unused condition and with original packing and tags intact, along with the returns number. Postage costs are none refundable and unless the items are faulty the buyer is responsible for the return postage costs.

We strongly recommend you use a recorded/insured delivery service as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.

Please note that if you require goods to be sent out in exchange, we do make a further carriage charge (excluding the return of faulty goods) according to the weight of the goods.

 

Faulty Goods


If you receive an item from us which is faulty or for any other reason which is our fault, please contact us by email at info@ubermountain.co.uk to inform us within 14 days of receipt and we will arrange a refund or replacement.
 
Do you have a shop I can visit?


No, we operate from two warehouses both of which are not set up for the public to visit. However watch this space?!!
